The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
